csTimer released

I added recent WCA competitions to the Online Competition tool, so you can try out scrambles from WCA competitions. Due to previous design issues, only a part of the event has been added so far.
That’s awesome! I have a comp in a few days and I would love to see and try the scrambles again. Will this work with all WCA puzzles?

@qq280833822, thanks for adding a Kilominx scrambler to CSTimer, although the default format can be a bit cumbersome. At least for the lack of a dedicated kilominx scramble image generator, using a megaminx image would do.

BTW, is it possible to provide the alternative formats as options (as these were provided on CSTimer+):
1. Scrambling the top half with x2's
2. First 30 moves of a Megaminx scramble (Rs and Ds).

Thanks.

Instead of random-move scrambler, the kilominx scrambler in csTimer is a random-state scrambler, which generates a random state and then solve it to obtain the scramble.
I'll try to add random-move kilominx scrambles in your format asap, but the scrambled state may not be as random as random-state one.

Thank you. BTW, here are the examples of the formats I am talking about (not the same scramble of course):
BL2 L2 F2 U flip F2 R' U' R2' U2' F2 BL L' F2 R2' L2 BR2 flip R2' U R2' F' BL' R2' L2 U' BL2 flip BR2 F2 R2' BL' L2' BR' R BR2 U2'
R-- D++ R++ D-- R++ D-- R-- D++ R-- D-- U'
R-- D-- R++ D-- R-- D++ R-- D++ R-- D++ U
R-- D-- R-- D++ R++ D-- R++ D++ R-- D++ U

Here is what the first scramble produced (courtesy of Torchlight's kilominx scrambler page on Github).

BTW, the first format was the one used in the training scrambler on Extra Events before it shut down.

Will a Stackmat, or other physical timer, connected to csTimer trigger csTimer's inspection timer and multi-phase?

You can trigger inspection with the keyboard (spacebar) and with some timers you can trigger it by touching one pad for a moment (iirc there's an option for that, so give it a try, else use keyboard).

I don't think there's a way to implement multi-phase as long as physical timers don't implement that option somehow.

You can trigger inspection timer directly from these hardware:
  • Genuine StackMat timers like G4/G5.
    Trigger inspection by touching left or right pad. This works only with original StackMat timers rather than over StackMat-compatible timers. Just because only these timers send over wire distinct Left/Right pad touch events.
  • Gan Smart/Halo Timer.
    Trigger/cancel inspection by pressing big GAN logo button on the timer.

Could that be used to trigger multi-phase?
@qq280833822?
