recently i've been learning COLL and the T, U, H, L and Pi orientations had been easy and i've learnt them in around a week. but now i'm stuck at sune and anti sune. i tried using Dan Harris's method for recognition:
When the cube is held so that the OLL cases are at the angles which correspond to the diagrams in the table below, 2 of these sticker positions will be occupied by stickers which are the same colour as your Up face colour. These can be ignored, in favour of the other four, different coloured stickers. The four letter code given with each case corresponds to these stickers. If there are two stickers which are the same colour, this is denoted F, to refer to the Front colour. The other stickers are then labelled according to their position relative to the Front colour. So for example, if the Front colour was Red, then a Green sticker would be labelled R, an Orange sticker labelled B, and a Blue sticker labelled L. The reason for labelling the cases like this is that there are 4 possible colour combinations for each case, but it is the patterns of the colours relative to each other, and not the actual colours themselves, which are important.
but the problem is, after i identify the front two, i see that the UBL and UBR stickers are facing up. Dan said look at the UBL, UBR, UFL, UFR, FUL and FUR stickers but the UBL and UBR have yellow facing upwards. so how am i suppose to identify it?
btw, i wanna what to look out for when arriving at a sune or anti sune case. i often waste a second or two looking for a place to start. are there any "landmarks" or something that allows me to instantly identify the case? or any specific group of stickers that allows quick identification? thanks for reading and your help is much appreciated
