Clock pins falling down and lube

Whenever I do a solve on my clock one pin will just fall down and mess up my solve and I was wondering if this was normal and if so how to fix it or if its how I solve/hold the clock. and finally, is spray silicone still the best solution for lubing it?

Pins falling down is normal. At competitions they dont even care what you do with the pins.

Use shock oil!

BTW! Use the OAQT.

I took mine apart. The reason it falls is because the tiny metal pins can slide very easy. That's the source. I don't have anything to make it slower, so I bought a new one

i have used 5 rubik's brand clocks as well as loads of rubik's brand clocks from my friends and none of them has this issue.
so i assume you are using some other brands' KOs. yes they just suck

Mine fell down too. I took my clock apart and slid the little metal things out, and then i bent them very slightly. Now they don't fall down and the pins still move good.

Mine fall down too, but I've lost a bunch of the metal pins...the one wheel locks like crazy now...
