CLL vs EG1

How the heck do you do it so fast? Is there a trick to it?
I tried timing myself, and got a 1.83 avg of 12.

You'd better not be talking about the nobar alg. If you are, please say so, then quit cubing. Or just learn to double trigger.

If you're talking about the 1 bar, just do it slowly and fluidly, and figure out where your pauses are, then try to find a more efficient way of moving without pauses.

For the record: I almost never practise 2x2x2, so I don't really know what I'm talking about that much. But I still think I'm right.

Sub3 is easy with pretty much any method. CLL, Guimond, SS- all easy to sub3 with, even if you just know part of the methods. I got sub3 averages long before I finished CLL, and I still haven't finished SS.

A small note on PBL:
Ideally you should be consistently around 1-1.2 for Jperm and 2bar, 1.5 for the Yperms, and ~.8 or so for most of the 1bars. Being consistent is extremely important.

I also think that being fast with the OLL's is important
For example I can get 0.5 with the double sune case

Well I have done 1bar at UB sub.5, and I know my nobar is way faster than that. But since you complained, I timed it once just now and got .25 first try.

Lol thanks for timing it :D

You do realize that my first comment in this string of pointless arguing was just to be funny (and slightly 'trollish') though, right? I wasn't trying to 1-up you or anything, and you and Anthony seem to be taking this much more seriously than I intended.

I was laughing when I read the argument but that's just me. I'm currently using a lan lan ortega method and at the toronto spring 2010, I averaged 6.88 I think but is that good and should I change to CLL?
