2x2 CLL recognition

Hey guys, I am learning CLL (technically you could call it EG-0 in this case because I want to learn full EG, and I decided to learn this subset first); I know all the "H" cases, a couple of random ones here and there, and I am working on the Sunes right now. Most of the Sunes seem to be pretty basic, and I know HOW to recognize the cases, but I keep on forgetting. Does anybody have any tips for this? Thank You!

Don't listen to anyone else's recognition. Choose what works for you. Look for colors that are the same or opposite or together or separate. With practice, you'll be able to recognize them better.
Yea that's exactly what i'm trying to do, but I was wondering if anyone else was like me. But thanks!

I misinterpreted your question in the beginning. To not forget the recognition, I would suggest training on one alg set until you are confident you can recognize them. Then go to another one and then throughout maybe mix in the previous ones to keep them fresh and also make sure that you remember the new ones you are learning.

Yea... I think I'm just going to name the algorithms so I can remember at this point, because there's only 6 sune cases, but it feels like hundreds. But yes, that is what I'm going to try to do. Thanks!

Yes, I'm currently grinding sune cases, but I'll try to work on the last part. *sighs* "here comes anti-sunes....." But thank you.

Sune and antisune recognition can be challenging. Pi and H are the easiest for me, since all you have to do is look at the stickers on top relative to the orientation of the pi or H. For sune and antisune I look at where the opposite stickers are on top, which divides the six cases into three pairs of cases, and each pair requires looking at certain other stickers to tell apart. I'll often set up both cases in a pair on two cubes and compare from various angles.

I think I finally got the recognition down! For some of the cases it requires a bit more looking at to execute it, but that goes away with practice. Thank you all for all your help, and if any future cubers need help with this same thing, feel free to message me!

wait, since I am pretty good with lefty algs on 2x2 (to put this into perspective, I usually use lefty T-perm on 2x2 and my lefty Sunes are around as fast as my righties, and some other algs, too) could I just mirror the anti-sunes from the Sunes? Or would that not be a good idea?
edit: I think i'm going to use lefties, because I tried them, and I think they're already faster than my righties (MAYBE; I haven't timed them individually yet) but if you think learning more algs for the anti-sunes will make it faster, than please tell me. :)

I use the same algs lefty for 4 anti-sunes so yeah I would say give it a shot
