CLL vs EG1

o.O only 12 new algs? I'm definitely learning CLL. But according to Limeback I have to learn them all at the same time or I'll forget/confuse my self, is this true?

Well, that's an exaggeration... At some point this week I'll write up a post about learning all of CLL quickly.

i'll be waiting, and waiting, and waiting......

Ok, didn't read the whole thread. But for me, it's pretty clear that CLL > EG1 . Of course, the best choice is CLL + EG.

The fact is that you can align your CLL the way you want. In EG-1, you have to put the down layer is the right position. This can lead to a regrip.

I started learning CLL, and it's actually quite fun. Recognition seemed like a nightmare at first, but once I really figured it out, its a piece of cake. I learned all the H cases in one evening, and have started working on the Pi cases. I think I can finish this up within a month.
Anthony's site rocks. He lays it all out well, and chose the good algs :)

I learnt half of CLL at the beginning of December, and never bothered to learn the rest (yet), and I havent forgotten the algs or confuzzled myself...

Your sig is hilarious.

Sub3 is easy with pretty much any method. CLL, Guimond, SS- all easy to sub3 with, even if you just know part of the methods. I got sub3 averages long before I finished CLL, and I still haven't finished SS.

A small note on PBL:
Ideally you should be consistently around 1-1.2 for Jperm and 2bar, 1.5 for the Yperms, and ~.8 or so for most of the 1bars. Being consistent is extremely important.

You're forgetting sub 0.4 for the R2 F2/B2 R2 case :p

So you can time tenths of a second in your head? Not trying to be a dick but isn't it kind of presumptuous to make a statement like that even though you haven't timed it?

Does it matter if he can do it in .2 or .4? Woner doesn't have to time it to know that's it's stupidly fast.

Well no, it doesn't, but he's the one who said 0.4 is slow, not me.
