Changes to the Weekly Competition website

Okay it seems to be working very inconsistently. It worked earlier today when i didnt use a bookmark, but now it doesnt even work when I google it. I get an "HTTP Error 500" everytime

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I guess there's a chance that a 500 error might be due to overall server problems, but you would think that would affect the whole website, not just the competition sub-site.

It really depends on the path I take as well. When I google speedsolving weekly comp and click on the link that goes to the rules, I can access it and then navigate to the weekly view. But I cant directly go to it.

It does not work at all anymore now for me. I can still compete in the forum version tho.

Is it still the "HTTP Error 500" error? I'm not sure I know what you mean by "I can still compete in the forum version tho." What exactly are you doing that works, and what doesn't work? Or by " I can still compete in the forum version tho. I can still compete in the forum version tho.", do you mean just posting in the thread?

Now it works again, I dont understand. But I did get the error you mentioned like 2 hours ago and couldnt find a way to get onto the website. I can always use the competition tab here in the forum tho, just not the dedicated website most of the time.

Out of curiosity, do you mean the OLD dedicated website, at https://www.speedsolving.com/competitions/? That site also seems to work for me, but I don't test it much anymore - I am hoping everyone will use the one that the competition tab goes to. I would love to deprecate that old site if possible, but haven't tried to push that yet.

Yes, I always use the old website (I didnt know it was considered old), because I dont like that the forum-version is so crammed from all the forum tabs around it.

idk how feasible this is, but it would be cool if there were SR (site record) and PR tags in the results
