I wanted to ask you ALL....

1.)
what is the brand of your cube (3x3x3)??
my cube is from JUMBO
i got it from HERE
is it usefull for speedcubing?

2.)
wich brand do you recommend to use as a speedcube??

& the last one...

3.) what Method do you use?
me: Lars Petrus

pS: I love this site

1) I have a two Wal-Mart Rubiks Cubes, and 1 DIY. All of them are good, DIY is probably the best. Yours could probably be used for speedcubing if you lube it up.

2) DIY is great for cubing. Email [email protected] if you want one, they are $6-$8 depending on the color, then like $4-$8 to ship.

3) I use Fridrich for my solving.

1) To tell you the truth, I'm not too sure. I just found a Rubik's Cube one day in my house. There isn't any brand label, the stickers are shiny, and it uses a Japanese color scheme (blue opposite white). Go figure.

2)Haven't experienced it myself, but a DIY is probably your best bet from what I hear. (PJK, I'll definitely look into buying from that e-mail. :D )

3)Working on Fridrich. White cross on bottom, intuitive F2L, need to change my terrible OLL and almost completely memorized PLL, about to move onto 3-look LL.

1) I just got lucky with a 25th Anniversary Rubik's. I ordered the stickers off of cubesmith.

2) The best are the most durable. I can't say much more than that.

3) I use intuitive Petrus for F2L, always making the 2x2x2 block off of whatever's closest to being completed. For the last layer, do a 2-look LL using corner orientations and all permutations (28 algorithms). I'm in the process of learning alternate permutations that use no more than 3 faces.

aha...

on my white sticker is a label : 25th Anniversary Rubik's
BUT it is from JUMBO ?!?

what is it now??

25th or Jumbo ?

i hope it's a 25th

what is this--> DIY ... is this a cube?

thanks for those answers!

1) My best speedcube at the moment is a DIY.

2) Joy Cube seems to be the best, but it's not available outside Korea so just get a DIY.

3) I use slightly modified Petrus.
