Brand new QJ mini 4x4 is messed up. Please help!

My QJ Mini 4x4 just came and i turned it about 30 times or so. Then I heard a pop and the whole cube became extremely loose. I turned an inner layer and the cube just falls apart. I checked the screw in the ball core and it's tight all the way. So I put it back together and it's still too loose and now the inner layers won't turn at all. Could I have just gotten a bad one or did I break it? How can I fix it?

Make sure the core is aligned.

First check if the screw is in straight, and also if it is far enough in. Then if it doesn't go any further and still pops try tightening the other screws first, see what happens and if it improves. Usually tension is too loose when things pop so tightening is the way to go.

How do I align a 4x4 ball core?

My qj mini won't turn inner layers sometimes. I took it apart and put it back together, but it still won't work. The peices are also extremely loose. Should the ball core be aligned in a certain way? If so, how? Also, the plastic "triangles" on the core are not the same sizes. Is that normal?

Me too. That's why my Shengshou V3 has been sitting in a bucket completely taken apart for 4 months.

Loosen the screw and turn the hemispheres. Then, tighten the screw.

I have made one for the 5x5 myself as that one went poof when I went to re-find it, but found the 4x4 still there. I have made it good practice to download the vids now. JUST in case they go poof and my cube does the same LOL

Lol! You said you made the 5x5 video and it disappeared? Weird. Maybe some other youtube user could help you with that one.

Nonono.. someone ELSE made one, and when it came time that I needed it that one was gone (user quit, everything poof), so then -I- made one to make sure there WAS one that was clear to see
