What is the best brand for 3x3's?

I'm gonna say Moyu, though YJ is pretty close.
Moyu has made:
- The gold standard for budget cubes, the RS3M 2020
- The WRM series, which are amazing cubes for a very manageable price
- The GTSxM series
- A brilliant 4x4
- The largest produced cube (21x21)

YJ has made:
- A great 2x2
- A pretty good 3x3 with the mgc elite and the mgc evo
- The best 6x6 on the market by far
- Amazing 4x4, 5x5 and 7x7 cubes
- The best Squan on the market by far

If you dismiss budget cubes, since they don't count for this, I'd consider that Squan to be the worst, but that's just me.

Probably yes.
So I guess it's between expensive but really (in the case of gan 11 and maybe 12 REALLY) good cubes, and some solid or really good cubes for manageable prices, including a budget cube.
If you want cubes that are guaranteed really fast, go for GAN
If you want cubes that are fast too, but feel different and are maybe a little more stable (and have lower prices), go for Moyu.

Looking at only 3x3, the main competitors are Moyu and GAN, but I would say qiyi still has some pretty good ones.

Midrange to low prices
More stable and sturdy cubes
Best tensioning system
Has many great budget options
Low packaging and simplicity, which some like

I couldn't think of anything

Qiyi Pros
Mid range price
Good budget cubes
Very decent tensioning system
Sturdy feeling(more than moyu)
Premium unboxing

Qiyi cons
No modern cubes that are accepted as very good
Hard to setup
Lots of packaging


To me, moyu is the clear winner but next up is qiyi just because I like their cubes. Yes, some people like gan, but the price puts it out of range for many.

GAN for me (But only the cheaper ones xD), but...

If you want a timer that you can throw off a cliff, buy QiYi.

GAN is expensive but good
YJ made MGC which is known for big cubes
Moyu made RS3M which is like so good and also made WRM and GTS
Qiyi made Valk and X-man which are both amazing and also made Qiyi MS and other cheap but quality puzzles
Yuxin does not come up with new cubes very often but they made Yuxin Little Magic which is good and I love their animals
Dayan made Tengyun and Guhong which are both good cubes and Dayan is known for quiet cubes|

FACT: Moyu comes from YJ and it is owned by YJ
I love Qiyi very much but the fact that YJ owns Moyu and Moyu and YJ both produce good cubes, I will say YJ is the winner

I prefer Dayan, as the Tengyun cube still suits me.

What is this Moyi you mention? Also you forgot Dayan, Cyclone Boys, Rubik's, Moretry, Peakcube, MScube and probably more that I can't recall off the top of my head.

Having said that, Moyu is the best brand.
