Best beginner's method?

Either hexagonal fransisco, sexy/mirs/other methods that are similar, beginner ZZ (takes a long time, but worth it and you basically transition into sexy method) or beginner Petrus. Basically, any method with an intuitive F2L-corner+edges solved on U.

When I've taught complete beginners that aren't really interested in getting fast or learning a bunch of algs,
they just want to solve a cube periodically...

I put together this 3x3 beginner method and called it DSEF (Daisy Sledgehammer Easy Fishing).
It takes known algs and steps and assembles them in such a way so that a beginner only has to memorize 1 alg (sune) and 2 sequences.

There's a one page quick reference here: http://tinyurl.com/solvexio
and I turned it into a website and app found here: http://solvexio.cf
