Beginner - Color Neutral or not ?

Lots of new solvers are having serious "color blindness" or "piece blindness" during the first 500-1000-2000 solves.

Maybe beginners could progress faster if the stayed away from Color Neutrality. I remember, I quickly leanred to have my primitive brain filter away all pieces with yellow when I was doing 2nd layer, and later F2L.
I also remember that my piece blindness improved very quickly when I switched to Roux. Since my FB was always blue, I could find the needed pieces much faster. Primitive brain would eliminate non-blue.

Maybe using the primitive brain would help in CFOP as well, say always insert blue F2L pairs first, and preferable behind. Dw could be used to orient the cube after cross. Of course any obvious pair should be allowed to be formed/inserted before its time, when a user gets to that level.

Of course it will be a step up to start inserting green or any pairs first. And to become cross neutral.

But again, that do people think about this ? Say for 500 solves ?

Sure. That is the end goal. But not being able to find the edge UF is discouraging for many beginners.
so I just suggest it for a beginner.

I recommend white/yellow cross after learning the basics which greatly cuts down on really crappy crosses.
There are some top solvers who only do white/yellow so it should be viable.
Idk something about CN f2l just throws me off incredibly.

qwr people are doing CN f2l - inserting pairs in random order.
That is why a beginner might be overloaded by all the colors/pieces to relate to. So dropping it and telling a beginner to first insert say blue pairs might speed up the beginners progress, and ability to recognize f2l cases, as he has less to be confused about.
CN f2l, i.e. insert pairs in any order comes later. But that is what is taught in beginner F2L course, like from J.Perm.

Hellocubers, you likely write about cross only. I am talking about a 50-100 solve beginner, trying to learn F2L, that can't find any piece as there are too much to relate to.

same here. When White is a side color it really makes me pause and think in f2l because my instinct is to make it go down and not to the side.

the cool thing about doing different color crosses is it makes the cube seem like a whole new puzzle in a way. Doing Sune and seeing a blue fish or a green fish feels weird and neat because you're so used to seeing a yellow fish.

In my opinion, only F2L and maybe cross is hard for CN. OLL and PLL are easier.
