I’ve never regretted it…yeah, all you can regret is using R U2 R' U' R U' R'
So… what’s the advantage of that long alg?In case he meant regrips, which I deem possible, the alg can easily be done regripless.

you can look cool using itI’ve never regretted it…

Guess why I suggested this alg:I don’t know if this is sarcasm or not![]()
So I've done some investigation and come to the conclusion that from the same angle you do your weird algorithm, the best way to go is U' R' F R U R' D R U' R' D' F' R
I have no clue, maybe you can explain it to me?Guess why I suggested this alg:
Because it's betterI have no clue, maybe you can explain it to me?
Funny, but it was the same for me.I agree, it’s just way shorter, and the fastest alg I can find. I’ve learnt it when I was learning Ortega.

R U2 R’ U’ R U’ R’ *is* the Antisune algorithm, and the only correct way to do it (with, yes, a lefty U2 flick). There are other ways to solve that case, (a popular one being the anti nikilas) but none are as quick as the antisune. It is quite literally one of the best algorithms in all of cubing. Don’t ever use any other alg for that case unless you’re learning COLL/ZBLL/etc
And yes, it is the inverse of Sune. Hence “antisune” (Sune is R U R’ U R U2 R’)
Wide moves are quite risky and usually not worth it though.*Niklas
I can't quite tell if you're still being passively sarcastic. R U2' R' U' R U' R' is a fast sequence for the anti-sune but it's by no means the quickest or the right one. I actively use all three in my solves depending on the position of the U layer and my recognition. I consider them all to be equal in speed, however, for me personally I find lefty sune and back-sune to be faster. This isn't objective, it's just what I find to flow better. Despite this, I still use anti-sune because it's not slow enough for me to do pre-AUF so I can get a preferred angle. They're just that similar in speed.
Unless you're very comfortable with L moves (in which case you would probably just use lefty sune), the lefty sune can be performed as r' F' r U' r' F2 r.
I fixed your post for you.Wide moves are quite worth it and usually not risky.
They are 90%+ of the time not worth it, they are very easy to mess up and hard to execute.I fixed your post for you.
thank you for saying this, i was very confusedApparently people are genuinely confused, so I may as well clear this up
