Hey guys soo.. I use 2 look oll and find the first look algorithm F(R U R' U')F' very time consuming and takes quite a few moves( Sometimes have to do it 2 times).
anyway any alternative, shorter algs would be aprreciated! Thanks

First, check the wiki for OLL algs.
Second, you can use f(R U R' U')f' for the other case (the L-shape), and keep F(R U R' U')F' for the I-shape.

First of all, F(R U R' U')F' is the shortest case there is and probably one of the fastest as well..
I also recommend the alg proposed by Clayy9 to use for the L-shape.
Maybe you should watch another 2-look oll vid (badmephisto's for example), that will help you out.
PS: Use the one answer question thread for such questions next time.

Alright thanks

I think people are really going way overboard with telling people to use the OAQT lately. Why should this go there when the question has several potential answers, not one?

On the other hand, I will agree that it is a question which could easily have been answered by doing a little more research and there's almost certainly some other existing threads that could have been used instead rather than starting a new one if they were unable to find an answer.
