Yo, I found a way to train your other hand. I am right handed, so my left hand isn't as good with doing finger tricks. So here is my idea. Basically, you mix it up only with L, L', L2, U, U', U2. Then you solve it the normal way only using those moves. It is similar to one of the Petrus method parts. I don't really know if it will help that much, but it's just a thought.

I don't see any point to that, sorry ^^ . If you want to get good with both hands then practise mirroring algorithms. I do half my algorithms with my left hand (almost), and it has really helped with training my left hand (which was almost as good as my right from the start anyway).

Actually, I do that except with R, R', R2, U, U', U2 moves just for fun (which is nice to see some sub-10 solves!). But I never thought it could be used to train your left hand, although I'm not too sure whether it might help considering that you'd have to mirror most of your algorithms beforehand, mirrors that you might not use very often in speedsolving.

well then its a bonus
you get faster OH and better work with your other hand. Like for me my left hand has always been my main turner of the U face and could put pairs in and stuff... for PLL's it only does T's and every once in awhile a G...

for oh, why not just practice every combination (or every practical combination) of turning two adjacent layers over and over.

For further usage, just use <U,R>. In group theory, it refers to the group "generated" (hence the name) by U and R. Besides, R2 is really just RR and R' is just RRR.

Since I use cross on left during f2l and I've gotten used to doing <U> moves with my right hand as well, then my left is really "weak" compared to my right. I've just started to getting used to doing U' with left pointer which I can feel is much faster.
