So I got bored of solving the cube with both hands so I started OH-solving a couple of days ago.
I mainly practiced OH when watching TV/movies or reading or soing other sutff and I gradually got better at it.
I mean, I am no pro - heck my OH solve is probably around 2 minutes at best but the fun thing started when I came back home and started timing my two-handed 3x3. My average was around 1 minute the last time I tried it, now - my average is 10 seconds LESS (48.62 seconds)
I can't really explain how this happend but I theorize that when solving it one-handed I started to be very selective about my moves, rotating the as little as possible and cut down on unneccesary movements - this is mainly because my hands experences really bad cramps when I cube one-handed for too long so I want to minimize the moves as best as I can.
This technique applied to my 2-handed solving decreased my solvetime average by 10 seconds at least!
I would gladly recommend people to start trining one-handed solving if you cannot get your 2-handed average to go any lower.
Cheers.
