It's on my list of things to learn. I already know EO and DR basics. HTR is still a mystery to me - there are a few text tutorials that I'm checking out. I still struggle with things like NISS and Insertions (I'm very far from optimal that is). My goal was to get a Sub-30 Mo3 and then start transitioning to DR. This will probably change depending on how I progress.
Nice. As soon as you are comfortable with NISS and some really basic insertions you should switch. Practising more blockbuilding isn't really that necessary for DR/HTR. But NISS and EO is definitely good to learn. Insertions in DR/HTR are also (imo) much easier and simpler than in blockbuilding solves.

I find NISS to be much more straight forward with DR in general. This is mostly because of EO. That's, imo, one of the strongest parts of DR - having a minimum of 24 possible EOs right from the start. I still want to play around with blockbuilding in general because its fun and may have more application in QTM. At some point I want hold a FMC Comp measured in QTM instead of HTM. I'd love to see how the change in metric effects solves, that is, if there is an effect at all.

Hey guys, got a big update for ya'll,

So to start, I've have gotten back into streaming :) Hip Hip Hurray! As such I wanted to give updates to what I am going to be doing on stream for the next few months.

(1) I've challenged myself to do a 100 days of FMC challenge. That's right - over the next 100 days I will be doing AT LEAST 1 FMC attempt. Pretty excited. We're currently on day 8 so I still have a long way to go. In addition to this I will be creating a youtube series that highlights my best solves. This will include explanations of the solves as well as some tutorials/tips as I improve. I will update this thread after I post my first video.

(2) For the months of October I will be stream DooM games every day. My plan is to complete 15+ DooM games by the end of the month (this includes DooM-likes and modpacks). DooM is one of my all time favorite games so if you like them, come watch :)

(3) I will still be continuing my 1000 solve challenge over the next 2ish years. I've reset the count to match up with the 100 day FMC challenge - so we're currently at 14 solves. Again, very excited. I after my 100 day challenge I plan to switch to DR - this doesn't mean I won't continue to do blockbuilding solves but for improvement's sake it's something I think I will have to do. Again there will be documentation as I improve.

(4) Since I have finally finished development on my method SSRC, I will also be learning the full method on stream. My plan is to get sub-15 Ao100. If you're interested in method development this is something you won't want to miss :)

(5) Since I'm doing my 100 days of FMC I will be setting my stream schedule to everyday at 8pm EST.

(6) I will also be doing a fundraiser for Medical Aid for Palestinians. I hope to reach 1000 Euros by the end of the year. This is something I care about a lot and helping others has always been a goal of my streaming career. We've raised over $600 for Autism Research during a 24 hour stream previously so I know we can do this as well. Any donations are greatly appreciated.

This wraps things up for this post. Thanks all for reading. You can come watch the stream here every day at 8 PM EST.

Hope to see you there,
Silky
