Any answer to the questions would be appreciated

1. Are there any videos on how to mod a rubiks cube for better corner cutting because mine sucks a lot.

2. Is there a precise way to put an corner into its position without messing up the edge. ie. in f2l the edge is already in. Is there an algorithm for tht.

1. Not really. Basically because there's not much modding can do for you. I've spent 6 hours on a 3x3 all for minuscule improvement. Just get a good cube to begin with.
2. Just replace the edge with the corner and then do the slot from there. So no, not really a precise way, but then again, theres hundred of fridrich pages that may contradict me.

2. Only if you have an empty slot... then you could do keyhole. Most typical algorithms will take the edge out to pair it up. It's not bad to do that and it wont take anymore time or effort than most normal pairs, as long as you know what you're going to do with the edge before you bring it out.

1.)[i would do this if it is a store bought cube]ummm as far as cutting corners goes. i would sand all big surfaces on each cubelet.also putting just a tiny bit of petrolum jelly on each connecter piece( the piece of each cubelet that connect to the center) so they can slide past each other. also if you look at these corner and edge pieces you will see clickies , ot bumps in the plastic, cutting those of helps. ( DO NOT CUT OFF THE ONES ON THE CENTERS!!!)

1) Are you using a decent cube (and is it lubed)? Just keep using it. If you are using a storebought, just keep using it, soon it will be as good as some DIYs out there. Constant usage makes any decent cube better. But if you are using a cheap dollar cube... throw that away and get a storebought or a DIY. A decent cube and some lube will go a LONG WAY. I've never encountered a decent cube that was so bad it had to be modded beyond simple lubing, unless it had a major problem (i.e. screws going loose or whatnot). Even the occasional creaky spring was fine (although quite annoying).

2) If the edge is at the FR position, place the corner on top of it.
Look at where the cross-colored sticker on the corner piece is.
- if it is in front, do U' R U' R' U2 R U' R'
- if it is on the right side, do U R U R' U2 R U R'
- if it is on top, do (R U R' U') x3

All of these involve taking out the edge piece, pairing it up or aligning it with the corner piece, and reinserting them. But these algs are really fast to execute anyway.
