I need to get rid of my pauses during Cross-edges and edge pairing. When i do, my average (currently about 1:25) will drop a lot. And soon i will start practicing 4BLD.

All tips are welcome

Nothing seemed to stand out as to what is slowing you down, it was just everything in general. Regardless, here are a couple of things that I think will help you get faster:
- Do you cross edge pairing with cross on left. This is for all 4 edges. There's a reason that everybody fast with Yau does this, it's more fingertricky and more move efficient. It's just better overall.
- Lookahead like crazy during edge pairing! It's super easy because all of the pieces are on the top layer! Always know where your next edge pair is!
- You should subscribe to my YouTube channel. I average 45 on 4x4 and am going to make walkthrough solves within the next couple of days. I just posted a 34.07 single ;)

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the tips! I'll work on it. The cross on left is unnatural for me :/

I subscribed aswell :D

Thanks!

Remember that new things are always unnatural at first! Just make sure to get comfortable and fast with them before deciding whether or not to switch. Another thing that I can recommend if you are switching to cross-pairing on left is that you try to be really efficient. I am working on getting really efficient cross-pairing myself at the moment, because I found that I was doing things in really stupid ways.

Do walkthrough solves with yourself and explain your lookahead and your efficiency.
