4x4 and 5x5 help!

I was just wondering how to practise look-ahead for biggers cubes. Because when I solve the edges I paus a lot to find pieces. Is it just to solve the cube over and over and over again, or can I in some way practise look-ahead?

Practice looking ahead in exactly the same way you practice lookahead on 3x3. Force yourself to turn slower --> reduce pause time
