About the 4 x 4 edge-pairing technique that does six at a time (or almost at a time)-
I'll start my edge pairing with a [U u], and set up three edge pairs. Then I'll do the [U' u'], and start replacing them with more edges in such a way that the next [U u] will pair up more edges. This is what I read to to (obviously, I didn't come up with this on my own).
The problem is, sometimes when I'm replacing the first set of three edges, I'll need an edge piece of the type that is in the one slot that I didn't complete the first time, and to get it, I have to mess everything up.
Is there a good way to deal with this? (also, sorry if this is too small a question for a whole thread, but it didn't seem like it would it would fit in the one-answer question thread)
