I know CLL and I just started learning EG-1. Then I think I'll work on 1-look solving on 2x2. So I thought about how to completely know full solve in 15 seconds of preinspection, and I thought that when I'm completing first layer there are 10-15(except mirrored) situations and I can just look and LEARN where which sticker goes after solving first layer in some way, so I only need to watch 4 stickers, group them in my mind to last layer and I already see last layer case!
I want to ask professional 2x2 cubers - am I thinking in good direction or there is another way to solve 2x2 in 1 look?
P.S. Sorry for my English if it is bad, it's not my native :)

Well i see your also in the Race to Sub 4 thread (execpt u graduated ages ago)

I am also averaging under 4.5 seconds. Could i possibly see a a layout of you average solves for the Steps

Eg. This is Mine (guessing)

First Layer= 1.5
Recontion= 0.5
Execution= 2.5 I need to really work on my execution I cant actually sub 2 all my CLLS

Average= 4.5

Ok I have attempted tracking pieces for a while now but hasnt been the majority in my practice since my recontion is pretty fast.

I have noticed when tracking that cases that you revisit tonnes becomes natural and you automactialy see the CLL but thats just me.
Learning and revisit cases can help alot even if it means to do the same scrambles. There is a limit to where the pieces would be so there arnt millions to remember

And another thing i do is remember all three colours on the cubies that have yellow on them so it would be easier to imagine it rather than counting the colours.

Hope you will be having consistent sub 4 averages soon

I'm about to sub-4. Last time I did Avg100 on stackmat(about week ago) it was something like 4.1.
I think mine are these:
First layer: 1-1.5
Recognition: 0.5
Execute: 1.5-2.5
+U, U' or U2 in the end, And you'll get ~4.
By the way, thanks for your idea about learning colors! So I'll need only to learn 4 chains for cubies, for example, with orange stickers, and that will help to build the picture while preinspecting!
I'll make and upload video with ~3.7-3.9 Avg12 and you'll see my steps.
Do you use LanLan, just interested?

Well

I started with a Lanlan, 2 of them actually but 1 got destroyed and kept exploding because i kept tempering with the tensions. I Still have the 2nd one and it is completly modded (outer corners, and inner edges) have all been sanded but then I got a ghosthand in which i thought is much better than my modded lanlan, the lanlan seems to lock up because of the mods i did.

Getting more lanlans and will try breaking them in. So far my Ghosthand is my main

My first LanLan exploded too :D
Now I have LanLan, GhostHand and V-cube.
My main is V-2. It's a bit slower than GS and LL, but in overall I prefer it, it locks up less.
Added: Actually, to know colour order on any cubie I only need to learn one cubie :D
