+2 or DNF

Ok so i was just doing my daily average of 12. On my 11th solve i got a really good time and i was excited so I threw my cube down on the table and the middle layer turned when it hit the table. It turned so it was exactly in the middle of the two outer layers, at 45 degrees. Is this a +2 or a DNF? Or is it a normal solve because it happened when it hit the table, not in my hands? :confused:

As far as I'm aware. its neither. I think it has to be more then 45 degrees metric turn. So if you align the B face and its not more then 45 degrees its a regular solve. Then do that with the top face.

Unless im mistaken...

It's considered solved if the misalignment is equal to or less than 45 degrees as far as I know. So no penalty.

It does not matter if it happen after it left your hands, it is the resting position that counts.
