my 3x3 has these instructions:

Solve the green cross. Use this algorithm if an edge piece is not oriented correctly: Ri U Fi Ui

Solve the green corners. once a corner piece is directly below its correct spot do this algorithm 1,3, or 5 times: Ri Di R D

Solve the middle layer with either of these algorithms: U R Ui Ri Ui Fi U F or Ui Fi U F U R Ui Ri

Solve the blue cross(just getting a cross). If you already have it great. Otherwise do this algorithm: F R U Ri Ui Fi

Solve the blue edges. Hold red in front. if red blue and red yellow are both matched than hold white in front and do this algorithm: R U Ri U R U U Ri U If not than do this algorithm to position the yellow blue edge correctly: R U Ri U R U U Ri and than do the same thing as described before with the white in front.

Get the blue corners in the correct places. find a corner piece in the correct spot. Put that above your right thumb if you find one and do this algorithm once or twice: U R Ui Li U Ri Ui L Otherwise do that 1 time before you look for a corner in the right spot again

Orient the blue corners correctly. Turn the top layer so that you have a corner that needs to be flipped in the upper front right corner. Make sure red is in front during this step. Do this algorithm 2 or 4 times for every corner piece that isn't in the correct orientation: Ri Di R D

How would I translate this for blue cross first, orange cross first, white cross first, yellow cross first, and red cross first(which I have tried several times)?

Please give me all the translations.

I'd recommend this: Look at what those algorithms do and accomplish for green cross. Then apply those ideas (*ideas* not algorithms) to whichever color cross you want. This is important because understanding what the algorithms do help your understanding of the cube and how pieces move around. I really recommend understanding how pieces move around and how things work instead of blindly applying algorithms.

I know how pieces move around its just I need help translating the instructions because I have used the same instructions but for the red cross and did not succeed in solving the cube.

yes but mine works just as well. My question is not about the algorithms and methods themselves it is about translating instructions so that I can solve it with either of the 6 colors first.

no I haven't and I don't really want to disassemble my cube just to know how it works. I can know that from algorithms I do instead of disassembly.

no ... I don't really want to ... know how it works.

that's a shame, cause basic cube concepts that you discover on your own make you more insightful to the basic concepts of all puzzles. ever heard of you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish feed him for life. somewhat of a same concept, if you only use tutorials and alg, you don't get as much out of it as figuring it out yourself.

I agree 120%

They are truly terrible instructions.

I was going to translate them for you until I actually read them.

If you want to solve the cube from any starting cross you can either, buy another cube so you can translate them for yourself by referencing the other cube or learn from a better tutorial.

You have come on here to get someone to do a load of work for you.
That ain't cool bra!

Edit, apparently I'm a tool
Pick a colour to start with. Solve the cross. Use this algorithm if an edge piece is not oriented correctly: Ri U Fi Ui

Solve the corners. once a corner piece is directly below its correct spot do this algorithm 1,3, or 5 times: Ri Di R D

Solve the middle layer with either of these algorithms: U R Ui Ri Ui Fi U F or Ui Fi U F U R Ui Ri

Solve the opposite cross to your starting colour(just getting a cross). If you already have it great. Otherwise do this algorithm: F R U Ri Ui Fi

Solve the edges. Put the 2 correct edges at UB and UR (that's the back and the right edges as you look from the top) and do this algorithm: R U Ri U R U U Ri.

If opposites are correct, do alg once then as above.

Get the corners in the correct places. Find a corner piece in the correct spot. Put that above your left thumb if you find one and do this algorithm once or twice: R Ui Li U Ri Ui L Otherwise do that 1 time before you look for a corner in the right spot again

Orient the corners correctly. Turn the top layer so that you have a corner that needs to be flipped in the upper front right corner.
Make sure the same colour is always on the front during this step. Do this algorithm 2 or 4 times for every corner piece that isn't in the correct orientation: Ri Di R D.

you didn't quote the whole thing you only quoted part of it.

He's either trolling, or he's just desperate to show someone that he can solve a cube.

I can solve it with the green cross. just not with the others because even if I follow basic principles I still don't get the last layer right. Also I have tried other begginer methods other that the LBL method I am doing(layer by layer) and I can't do any of them. I have tried them all with the green cross but still no luck. How am I ever going to learn any faster methods if I continue being like this(in case I tell someone I can solve a 3x3 rubiks cube and show them that to prove it and somebody wants me in a speedcubing contest)?
