Lol the cameraman stated he was already current 2x2 WR holder. Nuuuuub.

Yeah, he is a nub. Someone said it was NAR but I think he didn't hear them. xD

It made me sick listening to him being upset with no single WRs.

EDIT: And sorry Chris, I didn't upload this. Just telling people there was a video on youtube.

Yeah. Since it's the judge's fault, they can't penalize him for it.

Here's something I think about doing every comp:

Sometimes judges stop the stopwatch and reset it as soon as you put your hands on the timer. Potentially when you hear that you could just keep your hands on the timer for another 10 seconds, inspecting 5 sides of the cube, and they couldn't call you on time because the stopwatch isn't going.

I really hope this average doesn't get changed :/ It's a shame about the 2nd solve having too long of an inspection. In all honesty though, I think the fact that the judge didn't say anything after 8 seconds should be enough to cut Chris some slack. He probably had no idea he was over inspecting due to pressure/being focused on solving and stuff (I may be wrong, and Chris can feel free to correct me). I know that I tend to zone out during official solves that I care about. That's really the only reason why he could be cut slack though. I just hope that it's enough.

Tim your second picture is of him starting the solve, the display has a delay so it doesn't show it but watching that section of the video multiple times I can see that his hands start the timer about 30.3-30.5 seconds into the video. The inspection does seem to be right at 15 seconds if not just slightly over 15 seconds, but surely not 17 seconds.

Yeah, misalignments are one thing, but I don't think a competitor can be held responsible for timing their inspection even to the nearest two seconds. (Open up your favorite timer, close your eyes, start the timer, and try to stop it at about 15 seconds without counting in your head. See how you do. Now try it while not looking at the timer, but instead concentrating on tracing pieces on a cube.) If the judge doesn't give the right signals or keep track of time properly, and it's still pretty close (like, 17 seconds, not 40) it's just not reasonable to hold the competitor responsible.
