1.83, 1.59, 2.44, 1.80, 1.59, 1.86, (1.22), 1.78, 2.52, 2.18, 1.72, 2.22, 1.81, 2.09, 2.40, 1.58, 1.65, 2.11, 2.41, 1.72, 1.61, 2.05, (3.21), 1.80, 3.00, (3.22), 1.83, (0.94), 1.68, 2.44, 2.18, 1.58, 2.93, 2.33, (1.47), 2.03, 2.05, 2.27, 2.06, 2.19, 1.69, 1.75, 1.84, 1.90, 1.68, 1.81, (4.31+), 1.81, 1.72, 1.77 = 1.98

I am now using the qqTimer methods to calculate large averages, so 44/50 instead of 48/50, 90/100 instead of 98/100 etc.

Cube: WitTwo
Method: Full EG

This is my first ever UWR. :D Oh and sorry about my weird timer stops.

This was an unusually good session for me. I still have about 3,500 solves to go in my 10,000 2x2 marathon, so I'm hoping for a good average of 100. The average of 100 for this session was 2.11.

A timer stop like this is +2 in my opinion. Every time your left hand is OK but with your right hand you beak that rule:
A6c) The timer must be stopped using both hands, with both hands flat and palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.

missing inspection time is :/

Yeah, I was thinking this...

Cameron, obviously everybody knows you're hella fast, but managing inspection time and strategy is half of being fast in 2x2, imo - you should at least time inspection and include the last couple of seconds of the countdown before the solve starts.

Nobody wants to watch an average of 50/100 with inspection in it...i doubt he went over inspection more than twice in this whole average.

Did you actually read what I posted? And in the last few avg12s he uploaded at least 1 solve was well over and sometimes 2, so from that I'd guess at least 4 would be over. I'm not trying to be the dick here but I don't see what's wrong with wanting to at least know he stays <15s - besides, I'm sure religiously practising inspection in <15s would be better for comp performance.

this is your first UWR? I totally thought you had some before.

No. The closest I got was 2.09 when you had 2.07 2x2 average of 100.

what about the ao 100 uwr?

also massive congrats.

Thanks, but that was only YouTube UWR (fastest on YouTube.)

Watttt

Not trying to demean the average, but you gotta stop the timer better with your right hand.

I get the thing with overinspection, but is this really worth worrying about? That is a WCA rule, but this is at home. I still solved the cube, started the timer after I picked it up and stopped the timer after I had released the solved cube. If this wasn't a WCA rule, I doubt anyone would be saying that it makes the average not legit.

And, I'd really rather not have to wait to upload a whole average of 50 with my slow internet. It's probably faster to edit through an average and upload a shortened version than uploading the whole thing. As for inspection, I think I have got better, and I do try to inspect within the time limit. However, I looked at some inspection times briefly during editing, and a couple (where I couldn't see any decent solutions quickly) were over. Iirc there were none over 20s, but a few over 15.

it would be like 20 minutes long with inspection

Yeah, for me an average of 50 is 15-20 minutes. NSKuber, you are just fast. :p

As I was writing this post, I realised there was a practical way to time inspection with PPT using stackmat. Since there is no point having fast times if nobody agrees with their legitimacy, I will start using that from now on. :) Expect many DNFs and +2s from me from now on.
