Also, does anyone know how to get black replacing white on alg.garron? That would be helpful.

For black on alg.garron, instead of w, type any letter other than w, r, b, o, g, y, and x (x is a middle grey). It is case sensitive, and I believe that Brest uses B

Thanks; the cube does look a little weird with black stickers on a black cube, but oh well. An option for a white coloured cube could be an update :p

By the way: when I messaged Lucas yesterday to ask if it would support an 8x8, he said he's working on renovating twisty.js

all of that without an internal "pop". wow.

WitTwo's are actually very pop resistant. I have never had any sort of pops whatsoever in over 2,000 solves (I've had a few close shaves, but never an actual pop).

That would help Brest in reconstructing Mike's 8x8 BLD solve. Could you ask him whether he's thinking of adding an option to change the colour of the actual cube? (I know I could message him myself, but you've already messenged him and I'll probably be busy with reconstructing this average :p

Just so you know, these were the messages:

Hi Lucas. I was just wondering if it was possible to expand alg.garron to support an 8x8. Another idea I thought of was to have it be a cubic 7x7, but that's very minor

Lucas said:
Nope, it's not. Randelshofer made the applets I use.

It *will* eesily support bigger cubes once I rewrite it based on http://www.cubing.net/twisty.js/ , but that will still take some time.

Holy..... sooo many sub 1's..

I wonder what your AO 5 PB is... O.o

There were no sub-1s, but 44 sub-2s. :D

I'm sure you meant sub - 2s.

Also I'm pretty sure his ao5 pb is 1.56 - it's on his YouTube channel.

Yes, it is.

all of that without an internal "pop". wow.

I don't think I've ever had one on a WitTwo... but I have had actual pieces brake. :p

What's your PB av5?

1.56.

I feel sorry for your family :P

2x2 solves in my bedroom with the door closed isn't that bad, I used to cube in places in my house where it was much more audible. :p

Oh wow you are actually trying this. Thanks, and good luck. :p

really? i dont treat my WitTwo harsh at all and it has popped twice in the last week. last night i believe it may have popped in two places because i cant seem to fix it. any tips?

If I'm correct what you need to do is disassemble your cube then put pieces back in. The inner edge pieces with a small bump on the edge should all be next to ONE corner piece surrounding that piece.

Generally, I try to avoid disassembling WitTwos altogether. I don't think I've taken a piece out of this one at all.

Did you 1-look all solves in this average?
How long does it take for you to do an average of 100?

I think so, but I did accidentally do the wrong algorithm one one and had to do a PLL.

I'm not sure about the exact time for the average of 100, but the total video length for this session of 105-110 solves was 34 minutes.

Using my experience, Ao100 takes about 20-25 minutes :)

I guess you're just fast. :p I tend to take deep breaths etc before solves.

yes i did that later, its fine now, and they 3 different edge pieces are all surrounding the red, white, and blue corner. i dont think they were in the beginning. thanks!
