My first Speed Cube!!!

Are you guys on crack? I've never heard anyone say it's nerdy to solve a rubik's cube, only impressive/clever

I've gotten that all 3 of those responses. If you go to school, you probably have some pretty nice classmates.

it depends, because usually my friends think its cool (some teachers do but others get mad and take away the cube for the whole week. it happened to my rubiks revenge the first week i had it ). other people that you probably don't know might think its nerdy though

im sorry to say this but a lot of people will just think you are a nerd or that you have no life. but i don't really care, i just cube anyway

How is 3x3 "nerdy" anymore? In fact it's infected with a lot of people doing them now. I think BLD and FMC require more thinking.

Really bad idea. I've had some random people get angry just from looking at me solving a cube. :confused:

Some think "cool", others think "meh, that's not so impressive" while others think "if they solve that one more time I'm going to kill them".

When I first cubed in school, my friends were like...wow, he solved a cube very fast...(but I was like average 1 min 30 secs at that time)...

Then few weeks passed, reply changed...*still cubing? when will u get bored of that silly thing??*

And now..*nobody even want to look at u cube, because lots of ppl can do it and it's quite annoying to many people*

So we just compete among ourselves, competing is fun ^_^.

any way theres one speed cuber at my school i think hes sub 1min im not sure but he has a white cube i think its a DIY. also last year the teachers where fine with cubes the princeable. says " Rubiks cubing is ok as long as you dont do it during class, its a great thing to do and it grows your brain" any way my schools cool about werid things like that.

RLY!!! no way dannnnnnnnnngggggg i want atleast 5 ppl at my school speed cubing with me well i have my best friend starting to speed cube his name is Enjoi skater check his post about his white new type DIY!

Most of white cubes or DIYs, unless you spray paint it, which is very unlikely. It's most likely a DIY.

There are DIY 4x4 and 5x5.
