Alright alright we need to figure out how to solve the 1×1 speed cube because not only is the 1×1 going famous but its oalso becoming speedy so we gotta figure out a method to solve it
Many people say yea yea this aint solvable its always solved and others say just put green face infront of you to solve it
But what if what if we figured out a way to solve it different? Like maybe we scramble it and put randoom face infront, and you gotta somehow do or its jsut M and U moves where you figure out how to solve it and each face gives you a scramble of imagination idk im out of ideas what do you think we should do

i would say do 3 moves (in this case rotations) minimum then end with green front white top
and the 3 moves cannot end with greenfront white top

edit: no inspection ofc
Interesting idea beratha but we would need some randoom dude trying to tell him how to do it similar to the wca event thats being talked on maybe we just pit the 1×1 instead of 3×3 the thing with doing what tou said is because its gonna go from yea this fube is so easy to oh god why is this luck based

I made this efficient method, hope it helps:

We should make 1×1 competitions

Should be avg of 5 focued, (obviously doing singular highest is going to be in the 0.0s, so anyway itll be focused more on reflexes and instant thinking, where the dude has no idea how the 1×1 looks like and then he has to hold the timer and the second he sees the 1×1 he has to start and try to solve it as fast as he can (this makes it a bit more fair and kinda hard but not)

hm i think i learnt a method back in the day consisteing of 897 algs and 12 steps.

If they inspect it, they are already rotating it. This results in an early start and is not timed. The cuber would then have to just pick it up and mindlessly set it down. Inspecting it is cheating in this case. It would show real skill to include inspection with the solve
i found the rules

1x1
Judge Puts 1x1 into cube cover and shakes it.
The cube cover is then placed on the mat covering the 1x1 without the competitor seeing the 1x1.
Competitor starts timer and lifts cube cover (no inspection).
Competitor must reorient the puzzle to white top green front and stop the timer with the puzzle both touching the mat and the timer (the green face should be touching the timer).
