Hey guys, I'm new.
What do you think? I know some OLL, all PLL, and F2L. That's my third best Ao5 and third best single. I've been cubing for about a month.
Using CFOP, working on dual cross.
Reconstructions would make my day (Please!)

[Just like windows rating system I judge by worst time, the 28 so basically if you fix those two things you should be 19-20)

Less rotations, and lower movecount should help. And try not to look at the timer while solving. Nice job. (I had to take out the video because I can't include two videos in my post.)

Tips for OH please? I'm trying to be sub 20 by November. I will be getting a mini zhanchi soon, I know the cube is quite big for my hand.

Description:
My second recorded solve video. Sorry if camera shakes, cube/timer/anything else important goes out of screen, etc. My camera was balanced on my lap on top of a big pile of textbooks. This may also be why this average is a little above my average times.

I don't think I did any scrambles wrong, but if I did, forgive me.

My purpose for uploading this video is to see how I can improve so that sometime in the kind-of-near future I can be sub 20.

You rotated waaaay too much during F2L on the first solve. Also, that cube looks like it locks up a lot. What type is it? You're pretty fluid though, fast recognition. I guess just eliminate rotations as much as possible, 1 or 2 per solve. Fix that locking up problem, and find your spacebar. Just kidding about the last part, but otherwise, what I said before it.

Yeah... As I looked through my video, it did seem like there were an excessive amount of rotations.
About my cube... It's a zhanchi, just at quite loose tensions, which I like because I think it keeps it very smooth and very FAST (I don't have any decent lube to put in it) but I guess I can see how it might cause some lock ups from overshooting and such.
About the space bar thing, it wasn't even a problem with the spacebar. I had somehow clicked some other part of the screen so when I did hit the space bar, it didn't respond and I had to click the timer window again.

You need to work on LSE. Too many unnecessary M's. Make smooth, hesitation-less transitions.

Eleven of the times can be seen on my computer, except for the last one (I accidientally trimmed at the PLL). If anybody would need them, the scrambles are in the description.

Slow down and look ahead. (That must be the most common piece of advice.) Your turning is pretty fast but you pause a lot between each F2L pair.

For PLL, you should be able to do U perms from more than one angle. You shouldn't need to rotate the cube (unless algorithm calls for it). Recognize and execute before AUF.

Hey, thanks I've been doing a lot of slow solves this past few weeks, i really need to improve my look ahead while solving the f2l.
Thanks for the advices.

Learn full PLL, do slow solves to work on look ahead. While you're solving one pair, look to the next. While you're solving the cross look for the first pair. Practice doing this in your slow solves.

I'm working on that. The problem is I'm just too lazy, I prefer to actually solve the cube rather than learning new algs, but I know that's the only way to get faster.
