Well, There are lots of tutorials on youtube about doing good H and U perms and M slice algs in general. Plus i saw a lots of forum posts. But the problem is nothing seems to help me. I used to do ring-ring M2' with left hand for a long time. I switched to Ring-middle some weeks back but i just cant get it right. My best with ring ring is 1.46 and ring middle is 1.73. I Strongly used to believe your hand size and strength dont determine how fast can you cube , but now this has put me in confusion.
Plus, I m not slow in general. When not in a solve, i have been able to sub1 U perms, A perms, Jb and T perm. People with these many PLLs sub1 can surely sub1 H perms, i wont comment on Z for now.
I tried variations too . Like the one that interchanges ur hands (M2' U' M2' U'2 M2' U' M2') and the Takafumi H perm(i use it for OH now) but In general i cant get slice algorithms right. I have seen the finger tricks and i can do them in slow motion but while going fast either my hand just wont go fast and also the cube doesnt feel stable at all unlike U or T perm.
I believe there is no point of me trying to improve my times more if i cant get basic algs right. So what do you guys recommend? Like switching to roux or something? (I dont mind waiting, i can wait an year to get this right and do roux till then if that is sure to help or anything else you guys say for that matter). But in the long term, I really really want to get my slices right. Also, i should mention, I dont use U2s or D2s in my solves, i dont get them right either, but i never tried them by heart so wont complain, i feel this may help u advise me better
All kinds of help would be appreciated. I repeat I have seen lots and lots of videos and read lots of posts about it
P.S I dont mean to say that i suck , i cant even get this right and i will quit cubing or anything. I just want to get it right, and if possible, get an answer why have i not been able to get it right till now while all other people can get it . My long term aim is to be sub10, thats it, and i will do ANYthing for it
