You'd have to do CLSCP, which is too many cases.

I've never heard of CLSCP, but would it not be ELS + Last 4 Corners (which admittedly is also a hellava lot of cases).

I just made it up, but it should be obvious that it means - CLS + corner permutation.

Asking if ELS then COLL is a good idea clearly shows a lack of understanding.

Ah, yes, I knew I was missing something, I thought that ELS was solving the LL edges while inserting the last F2L pair, but of course it's just the edge. Thanks

My only question about that is how efficient it is. For example if I'm solving and I do one of those algs could I have been quicker just solving the slot and OLL?

I might seem to be a bit ignorant and not willing to take ideas on board, and if I come across that way I apologize, but I am listening to everything you are all saying and looking at the links and checking things out. The reason I keep asking questions is I don't want to waste my time learning algs which will slow me down or for methods which are dead and no one uses.

A more specific question, is doing ELS and then COLL a good plan?

mgls apparently has a slightly lower move count. plus most cls cases are 2 gen and els is pretty intuative. the only reason i havent bothered learning it is because i allready know a fair bit of ollcp =P
