Don't get sucked into the band wagon. CFOP is standard. Roux requires more thinking. CFOP is easy to transition into. Roux has a lot of m slicing. Your choice...
Lol. Has every single Roux user gone through a hipster phase? It seems like it.
Roux is too mainstream. I use Waterman. Nah, I use Waterman because I tried it, and I liked it.
Both methods are fast. Just pick one, and stick to it. Or pick one and switch if you hate it.
agreed really.Lol. Has every single Roux user gone through a hipster phase? It seems like it.

We've all pretty much. Not to say it's a bad thing however...
yeah most of us turned out okay.
I SAID MOST. MOST. There's always that guy that thinks he's a real waffle that when he gets out of bed he thinks it's a waffle iron and proceeds to grab syrup and pour it all over himself. (but that's when I did a lot of drugs)

Choose Roux if you:
- Prefer intuitive methods over algs
- Like using M slices
- Want a method where you can learn a few tricks to get faster
- Are willing to commit a lot of time
I think I there are 3 people on speedsolving that use an advanced corners first method.TIL Waterman users exist.
I'm a bit curious...what other methods have you tried?
