I am averaging a little below 30 seconds, and I want to know what looking ahead really is all about. My ll is not so much of a problem, its mostly about 5-7 seconds. what I really need is a fast f2l. Today, I had this solve that I could actually see the other f2l pair and manage to think what to do with it before even placing the pair i was working on, at the end it was a sub 20 solve which is great for me. But I never managed to do that again, I look ahead, sometimes I see a corner but keep looking for the edge, or the opposite, I never quite get the hang of it. I know , practice practice and practice but some advice is cool sometimes. :D

First, start with a pair. Try to place that pair in its slot blindfolded. Once you get comfortable with doing that, do a pair (very very slow), and then look around for the next 2 pieces. You should be concentrating on finding the 2 pieces, rather than having one eye track the current pair. As you get comfortable with that, slowly increase your speed. I hope I helped.

At Dutch Masters you can see me in action with slow turning. :D
I constantly do that.
Edouard is also gonna be there, you will just love his style.

I'll explain it to you personally wich is easier at DM. ;)

Yeah, your slow turning is awesome :). Your video actually inspired me to turn slow and it helped a lot. (You were my 3x3 judge at Belgian Open and said something like "i like that cubing style" ;))

i cant wait to meet you guys at dm. maybe i'll catch a spark or something and crush that 20 sec barrier :D

EDIT: I just tried turning much slower than usual, and got a sub 20 solve at the second try! (19.97)

EDIT2: And now a 18.78! wtf lol
