What to do about being scammed through paypal?

I made a payment through paypal weeks ago with this member. He said he was going to send me his guhong, $5. (I got $5 in paypal for completing an offer)

His paypal IDs are all fakes, can i track him down?

If you're really all that bothered for $5 then you can probably appeal through paypal

If there was sufficient evidence for your case, paypal would sort of "blacklist" the other person, making it so that whenever they receive funds on paypal, they cannot use the funds for a period of time, depending on the offence. This usually lasts for a few months or so.

Agreed. I once paid a few pounds for an X-Box game that never turned up on Amazon. I chased it as the guy could have been doing a similar thing to loads of people.

Appeal. Scam is still a scam no matter how small the amount of money involved.

Yes you should appeal. No they will not go to jail, it's only $5, but it is still a scam
