Hi everyone, it seems to me that I have been stuck at a 30 second average barrier for almost the past month. :( Any advice on how to break this barrier?
Thanks in advance!

Could you possibly provide a time breakdown? That would help people trying to give advice on which areas you should target

But generally:
-work on f2l (practice and look-ahead), get each slot/case down to a 7 move average
-improve your 2look OLL
-consistent PLLs (3-4sec) will help A LOT
-(if not already) sub4 your cross

OHHH.... Im sorry if I did not make this clear but the 30 second barrier I am talking about is my OH barrier. I can average 17-19 2H but im talking about OH.

I think we gathered that, seeing as this is the OH subforum.

The advice is always the same - for OH cubing, LL is more important than F2L.

I think they both are pretty important. But for F2L you use most all the same tricks as for 2H. Learn some new LL algs designed for OH.
That is of course not necessary for Sub-30 but im sure it can help. Just keep practicing.

Thanks everyone for the help! Btw Lofty I have already learned some different algs for OH but I should probably finish learning OLL (10 more to go I think).

I averaged got a 24.whatever average officially, and sub 24 average of 12, w/o knowledge of full OLL. I agree it's a good idea to learn them, but it's not absolutely necessary for sub 30. When I mean learn OLL/PLL, I meant for you to "relearn" them with one hand, like get used to fingertricking them and maybe adapt to new/faster ones, if necessary. OH also require look ahead, if you can do it for 2H, you can probably do it for OH also. For OH you get a lot more look ahead time, so make good use of it. Practice will get your times down.
