Is it possible that in 2 months I could average maybe 10 seconds, like as fast as Rowe Hessler or Weston? I average about 24 seconds so is it possible?

Progress gets slower the faster you get, I'm pretty sure. So unless you got to 24 seconds within a week or two, I doubt you could get down to 10 seconds within a month.

Depending on your method, time, brain-power, and cube, (aka. overall dedication), you could achieve an average like that but doing so that quick is highly unlikely even in the condition of many hours of practice each day.

24 seconds to 10 seconds in 2 months? If you seriously practice at least 2 to 3 hours a day (if not, more), know/learn full OLL and PLL (assuming you know CFOP), work on look-ahead/minimizing pauses, then I suppose it's possible. But even if you have time to practice 2 to 3 hours a day then you will have trouble sticking with it. In the beginning I practiced probably 3 to 4 hours a day, and then I just couldn't keep doing it. I still love cubing, but there's a point were you get sick of constant cubing. I'll tell you what, if you practice 3+ hours every day for the next 2 months and stick with it, and practice look-ahead/minimizing pauses you could be sub-15 or maybe even sub-13. 10 second average would be tough, but if you seriously practice, then there is a chance.

Good luck. :)

Progression is slow, but that's the way it should be.
Yes, it slows down the faster you get.
That's expecting a bit too much, I think.

Thanks everyone I'm going to try and aim for a 10-13 average in 2 months!

I mean, definitely set a goal. But 24 seconds to 10-13... No offence, but I honestly doubt it. I was like 24 about 6 months ago, and now I am just about 15 seconds when I am "warmed up". But of course, you could have extreme potential, and I could be completely wrong. So good luck! But I honestly don't think so. That's not to say stop trying though!

my progression is really slow. i think in order to achieve this goal you must be young and you must have a good mentor. i dont think that you can achieve these times in 2 months on your own ambition. i also believe it would depend on how old you were too. if you are an old timer, it is much harder to grasp things quickly. especially things like lookahead which require visual dexterity.

Think logically. I'm sure most cubers, if not all, have put at least a few months of hard practice in. And most cubers aren't even sub15. What makes you think you'll break sub15 in two months, along with going down another 5 seconds to sub10? I'm not trying to discourage you, but just make you think realistically. What sets you apart from thousands of other cubers?

I wouldn't say it isn't possible, but it would be very difficult. If you cubed 16 hrs a day consistently for 2 months, I bet you could avg. close to 10 seconds, maybe 12-13 or so. It just depends on what you practice, and how you practice. Getting to 10 seconds takes a lot of practice, that's for sure. There is a huge difference between 12 seconds and 10 seconds average.

Depends on the cuber.
I progressed slower at the middle stages, and now progressing rather fast. This is all before I switched btw, which as a day ago.

It took like 3 months for a solid sub-20, 3 months for sub-15, and now 1 month for sub-13.

I doubt you'll be sub-11 in 2 months though. You shouldn't worry about progress. Just cube and your times will fall.

I think it's good to set goals for yourself, but they should be realistic. Otherwise you are going to get disappointed and frustrated. Trying to achieve a 15 sec average in two months is already enough of a challenge if you ask me.

But whatever you decide, good luck!!
