Help with fingertricks please

Roux doesn't require that many F' or F moves, but when I used fridrich I used my thumb for F' and pointer finger for F.

The first block in Roux often uses F and F' moves, though you rarely ever use it otherwise outside of CMLL because it disturbs the first block. I've used it on occasion for second block if I see an easy multi-slot (or something similar), but very rarely. Most CFOP users I come across prefer doing cube rotations instead if it appears in F2L, but there are those that like to frequently use them.

Yeah, F moves are actually sometimes done by my ring finger as well during the first block. Also gives me a quick peek at the roux blind spot.

F moves are rarely used in the second block for me, unless I'm doing a weird insertion. Like F R F'. Come to think of it that's quite common for me actually.

When it's the T-perm, I use the left thumb.

It's important to not do R' F', and also not l' U', but a little bit of both. A little help with the left wrist can make it easier. It may sound like it's not much of a difference, but thinking about fingertricks this way helped me to improve.

You could do the R U R' F' more like R U l' U' (x). So the F' you'd do with the left index finger. Normally I'll do it with my right thumb though to avoid the cube rotation.
(Edit: sorry, this is basically what Joel said above)
