Hey guys. I got kinda interested in pyraminxing all of a sudden. Although I have yet to order mine, I would like to ask a few questions beforehand.

-What would be a good beginner > intermediate > advanced pyraminx method progression? Like for 2x2, it would be LBL > Ortega > CLL/EG maybe?

-Where can the best tutorials for each method be found?

-And what method do the fast people generally use? Like Oscar?

-Is silicone CRC spray or lubix better for a QJ?

Thanks!

Cheers, Tjen

P.S. I didn't ask this in the OAQT as it was kinda long and had more than a few questions. edit: no its not long but anyway tell me if you want me to move it to the OAQT, i'll delete it

Noob method, it has like 5 algs and is on youtube > intuitive oka or polish V > polish V or oka.

Youtube and here for polish V.

The methods I have listed before.

Good luck!!!

my progression was: intuitive LBL -> intuitive WO -> intuitive first step, and then LL as in WO, keyhole, oka etc.

Are there tutorials for pyraminx methods? *sigh*

intuitive first step and then LL like in WO, keyhole and Oka (each time I hear about a new method I take their fastest algs and add them to my intution...)

This series is quite helpful in what Odder talking about.

I recommends starting with LBL using intuitive and algs from 3x3 then move on to Keyhole, then Oka, then nutella and then polish V. Also don't just use 1 method.

Good Luck

Thanks for replies, emo and Odder. What does WO stand for?
Since you said then where did you learn your methods from? Like Oka, keyhole etc? I mean, written tutorials also count. Lol

Cheers, Tjen

WO stands for Wedel-Odder method :) (I'm so helpful)
I just asked people what the steps were in the methods and figured it out by my own, not that hard to do...

Not counting tips there are 6 moving pieces and 4 that twist in place. It's a very simple puzzle, you'd be surprised at how much you can figure out on your own.

THIS! THIS! THIS!!! =D
