Well. I've been cubing for like a year now, and I average around 55 seconds. I use 4LLL, and I know that's kinda really slow. I use a FII, but i still get horrible times D:

i already use intuitive f2ll, forgot to mention that. i cube every once in a while during the school year but during the summer i cube a lot.
well i just did an average of ten and my times were:
00:49.45
00:44.79
01:01.45
00:45.69
01:13.44
00:54.65
00:45.93
00:53.66
00:45.76
00:45.31
Try to get more consistent

Then go back to corner first then edge. Cause you need to be able to recognise corner cases faster, which will help you out alot during F2L. Just use beginner method first, then when you reach 50 second solve, go to F2L.
That's what I recommend anyhow.
here's a sub 9 avg12 with 2 look OLL
9.63, 8.81, 9.34, 8.43, 8.83, 8.47, 10.77, 8.43, 8.72, 7.66, 11.71, 8.19
8.96 avg. 4/12 solves, the edges were already oriented. 2/12 were corner skips after orienting edges.

I disagree. Keep working on intuitive F2L, eventually it will become second nature and you will be able to do it faster.
there really isn't much i can say to you without a video, except practice lookahead, and learn full PLL. I won't tell you to learn full OLL if you don't want to mainly because of this:

I don't know, I think It's all personal preference. I like algorithm f2l, because intuitive bugged me with a ton of bad cases. So not everyone is the same.

There were maybe three cases that weren't so intuitive and I had to look up algorithms for. Nobody says you have to go 100% intuitive and you can't use any algorithms or else you fail at life. Anyway, learning three algs still beats learning 40+.
