Australian Nationals 2010 and...

have to wait until January 2011 for your next comp in "Melbourne Summer Open 2011"?!?

I'm in the process of getting the RMIT Rubik's Cube Club to help organise the Australian Nationals 2010 on the 4th and 5th of September. We'll need to find an appropriate public venue that allows competitors to get on with things without being interrupted while still being able to showcase their skills. Bigger and better prizes would be nice for the winners, and sponsorship for competitions... but I can't promise any return on investment. So stickers and certificates for now >.<

There was some discussion about a Melbourne Cube Day 2010 in November, which AvG might attend?

But imagine: If Faz got a 14.11 this time, caused by a messup, it could also happen at WC 2011. When it just happens another time due to nervousity (at WC finals!!!) or a POP, other people also have a chance, because he would get high 10 avg :rolleyes:
