How would you tackle this F2L case?

This is nothing ground breaking (I'm sure you'll see what I'm doing that is) but I am starting to really like this alg too:

r' U' r U L U' r' U x

(r' U' r U) is beastly fast as a trigger and L U' r' U flows REALLY well as well, even if it is a bit choppy with the regrip. I'm am starting to use this alg much more frequently the more I practice it.

Chris

P.S. I REALLY like the alg posted earlier (U') F' R U R' U' R' F R. Simply amazing!

Yeah, I think you've captured what are possibly the best two algs for this case. Your alg works for the back-left slot and flows a lot nicer (I find) than the rotated version of the other alg. On the other hand, I think the second alg has a better flow for the front-right case.

So, including the situation which requires a cube rotation (edge on front), that's three algs for this case. More if you want to force EO!

Thanks for suggesting your alg, I'm definitely going to be using it for back-left.

Preserve LL corners : (y) U2 M' U' L' U M U' L

Mabye this one I got from using Ron's solver : L F2 U F' U' F2 L' (7,9)

If the slot at the back is open, this becomes one of my favourite cases!

R2 (U' R' U) R2

really like this one, fun to do, only a shame backslot has to be open.

If the BR slot is open, I used to use keyhole
(UD') R U' R' D

But this one is much faster. I do it like this (R2 U)(R' U R2).

I usually don't like R2 moves in F2L because it messes up my lookahead, but this one seems to be ok. :D

(U') F' R U R' U' R' F R

Rotated Version: (U') B' L U L' U' L' B L executed as (U') x' U' r U L' U' r' U r is not too bad, but I do like my version better.

So, including the situation which requires a cube rotation (edge on front), that's three algs for this case. More if you want to force EO!

The following is particularly nice for preserving edge orientation:
(U2) L F2 U F2 U' F2 L' executed as (U2) L y' (R')2 U (R)2 U' (R')2 F'

Hit the first U with your right ring finger, and the last F' follows nicely with the right thumb as your wrist comes around.

Thanks for suggesting your alg, I'm definitely going to be using it for back-left.

Keep in mind that the RL reflection is just as nice for BR slot:
l U l' U' R' U l U' x

This is a very complicated F2L case! I know of a few algorithms to solve it but in actual solves I always end up forgetting algorithms so I just use the intuitive

d' (L' U L) d (R U' R')

which I don't like but always works.

After looking at some of the algs posted I really don't want to post my stupid way of handling this. I will definately be switching to one of yall's algs.
