i got a v-cube for my birthday and there are lots of little dents and nicks in the plastic. there is also some parts which have a gap between where the pieces fit together and what looks like a finger print on a center the cubies?

it doesn't effect the movement but i was just thinking if this is the normal quality or i have got a low quality cube cube.

that's how v-cubes are. the built quality of the v-cube is kind of bad. if you want a high-quality cube then get a eastsheen.

Your description is coherent with the 6x6 molds, and really doesn't extend further than that with my experiences. Especially the fingerprint like dents in the centers. Regardless of the exterior shape, V cubes move far better than any other 5x5-7x7.

heres some pics. just seems a bit odd that it would be like this brand new after spending quite a bit on it.

Don't listen to what Daniel said, he was banned once and is probably just trying to annoy the mods.

YOU CANNOT GET EASTSHEEN 6x6 and 7x7 durrrrrrrrr.

Build quality of the cubes is bad? WTF is he thinking. I'd like to see him make a perfect 6x6 or 7x7. Oh right, he can't.

Eastsheen 5s are just lame too.

On topic: That's how the molds are, it does not affect the quality of the puzzle at all. And it really is a minor issue compared to the amazing mechanism that the V-Cube company has brought to us.

All in all, it is fine. It is not low quality.

Yep, its a awesome cube to use...but its still a bit annoying that the exterior has so many flaws. Maybe I am just being too picky but i didn't think it would come in this condition.

i thought so but i wasn't sure,
e-mail v-cube and see if i can get it replaced.

i love the puzzle, if there are flaws you can fix them (like i did) with a filler of sorts and spray paint then just resticker

this is exactly how both sets of vcubes are for me, when i resticker i just use some sandpaper and sand down each face until it is nice and smooth with no cracks/imperfections and then resticker :)

i bought it play with it, not fix it

i just bought dazzler v-cubes and it's worst then yours.. i'm very agree with you, v-cubes is the most expensive cubes so we want NEW one not like old crap... let see if you can get replacement

i never said that eastsheen is better than v-cubes as in for speedsolving purposes. i only said that eastsheens has much better built quality.

apparently the people said that i'm tryong to tell false information are brainless trolls who never read posts other than their own more than once.

i'm not directing at anybody (unlike someone), really :p

Chris...lay off man...he's just saying that eastsheens don't have dents or anything of that nature when you get them. He's not saying that they're superior cubes. What in his post is telling you that he's trying to annoy the mods? I don't understand why you try to find faults in every post and exploit them.
