What is the easiest speed solving method?

maybe petrus + 4LLL? it's easiest if you already know petrus, and you are great at block building, then the 4LLL is kinda fast.

4LLL instead of petrus last layer, as it is kind-of slow, especially the allen. but not the sune! it's great!

Why would you do 4LLL with Petrus?

OCLL, PCLL, PELL is what he meant, using 4 look algorithms.

I hadn't looked into speedcubing until about two months ago because I figured that it was either beginners or, alg f2l full OLL full PLL (too overwhelming for a novice such as myself).... I learnt intuitive F2L and 4 look last layer. It isn't very hard to learn and from that I have now nearly learnt full PLL.

you don't really need alg f2l. It's helpful on some cases, but intuitive f2l will work just as well for most people. It also gives you a better understanding and that understanding could allow you to look ahead and plan the next f2l pair.

I use petrus from my first solve until now.
I think it's the easiest method (not advanced petrus).

petrus is *arguably* *in general*, the easiest intermediate-advanced method. However, *in general once again*, for *most people*, fridrich is *normally* faster.

Notice that I put the (*) around the words that may result in people flaming me. Those are my shields so that nobody can flame me for saying Petrus is *normally* slower than Fridrich. MUAHAHAHAHA

I'd even go as far as saying Fridrich is an easier speedsolving method, and in fact faster. And no, no disclaimers.

HMMMM...

Easiest shmeasiest!

Go for ZB!!! :D

Back on topic,
I would go for 2L-Fridrich.
Same general idea as beginners,
only faster. :D

HOWEVER,
If I could go back in time, and back to a blank slate of cubing knowledge, I would have learned something like Roux.
I'm one of those people who like to mix it up a little, be different. :D

So, yeah.
:D

I guess it's a lot easier by concept, but it takes a lot longer to learn full Fridrich than Roux or Petrus, just because you have to get the algs down.

I had to review my last 6 or so algs that I learned every day until I fully got them down in my muscle memory.

So the idea, easier, but the memorization, harder.

Beginner's method is easier than Fridrich because it is possible to teach a newbie beginner's method but not with Fridrich because of the algorithms.
