F2L

That's proably a personal preference thing, but learning to do minimal cube rotations doesn't take that long. My struggle is going full speed and being able to look ahead. Watching these sub15 videos drive me nuts. On a good note, I was getting 15-16sec F2L, so if I'd use full OLL and PLL instead of 4LLL I'd be averaging less than 25. I'm just lazy and know that I really just need to get better @ F2L but I'm about to get started on my PLLs.

Petrus and ZZ are completely different.

Not only the order of the blocks, or even the EO strategy, but the whole ergonomics of it. EOline is completely different from petrus.
The LUR restriction is a PROFOUND difference.

It really does completely change the method. In Petrus you rotate around freely and there are enormous ways to make blocks, and extreme potentional for fmc, especially with petrus on crack (heise). ZZ is alright, but I'd hardly call it blockbuilding, because the first thing you do is restrict the cube. It's kind of like 2 gen fridrich slots on both sides, or you could even think of it as two petrus step 4s.

Yay +1 love Chris.

CrazyCuber not sure when you got your PB of 21.05, but I hit 22.45 this evening. I got several solves less than 30 seconds, I was proud :) I know as soon as I learn more PLLs and definitely full OLL+PLL I'll be averaging less than 30, given the fact most of today's solves were 15 second F2L's with my fumbling hard my 2 look PLL :( LL usually takes me 10 or fewer seconds, but when I was fumbling I'd take 13-14 seconds roughly, was pretty rough :/
