Colour neutral or not colour neutral?

I like solving on just one side, I get confused on F2L and I get better recognition for PLL, I'm sure with a bit of practice I could be colour neutral but I don't think it would make that much of a difference.

I'm not a expert on Fridrich, or Roux even for that matter, but this is my take on it. My first block is always Blue on L and White on D. Always. This helps me with recognition and look ahead. Colour neutrality probably would give me fewer moves though, but personally, the time I save in number of moves I lose in recognition and look ahead. I will probably go double colour neutral, and then quintuple because it is always nice to have an easy block, but I will always look for the Blue-White block first, always.

I heard color neutrality is important for Petrus, but for Fridrich I don't think it makes a big difference. It is not like I can go from 3 seconds to 0.5 seconds. It may make a difference if the white is really really unlucky but that is a small percentage of time.

Yea, and still, 8 moves (or whatever it is) doesn't seem that unlucky.
