[Unofficial] 7x7x7 Solve by esquimalt1 4:14.10

Do you perhaps have any tips on handling the larger cubes? I just also watched one of your 5x5 solves, and I must say, it was amazing. I can never seem to get the cube to do what I want it to do, always overturning or slightly turning another layer, causing far too many lockups, killing my already horrid times. Awesome work.

This vid makes me want to cry. I'll go delete the 18 minuter from my sig now.

PS, How does yours not pop? I always end up mis-aligning the layers only slightly and pieces fly off in various directions.

Well, the best tips I can think of are having a nicely broken in cube. And try to control the cube, don't let it control you! :p Doing lots of 7x7 solve on hi-games.net has helped me a lot.

How long did it take you to get sub-4:30?

Takes skills. :)

I got a 7x7 about three weeks after it came out last year so I'd say about 13 months. I actually broke sub 4:30 this month lol.

Don't cry! xD Trust me my cube loves to pop sometimes. Usually an oblique center either just falls out or likes to shoot out. Couple days ago it shot out like 5 meters xD.
