F2L is the awkward part. i had badmephisto's page bookmarked, but i didnt need it so i deleted it and now i dont know where it is.
anyway, you just need to find a list of the cases, preferably with algorithms. then, do the algorithms, and try to understand how they work. that way there isnt very little or no memorization required. if there are no algorithms, figure out the cases yourself. most of them are simple.
for oll, learn 2-look, then after that, when you have time, start looking at the really easy cases, like f (R U R' U') f'. when the easy ones are done, just pick 1 at random to learn. after a while, recognition becomes easier, and before you know it, you'll be done.
i stumbled upon pll by accident, so i had no knowledge of 2-look. i just started learning them in the order they were in on the page. when i got a case i didnt know (during a solve) i just did a random alg, and hoped it turned into a case i knew.
definitely learn 2-look pll though... my way wasnt very good. i still wonder how i managed to learn 21 somewhat long algorithms in such a relatively short time XD
