What have you lost while at competitions?

After seeing the thread about Rowe's 2x2, i was curious to see what else people have lost at competitions.

Personally, I have lost a Type A, as well as switched with someone else's cube.

At my first ever competition, i had a tiled eastsheen 4x4. The person who sat across from me also had a tiled eastsheen 4x4. Sooooo..... I ended up accidentally taking his, and he took mine. D:

The cube has since worn out, and i ended up breaking the core, haha.

I switched Stackmats with someone at a competition once. It was unintentional, but also unfortunate as this newer stackmat is constantly engaged even if my hands aren't on the timer. Oh well. Gen 1 ftw!

I lost to everyone who got better times than me.

Also, I lost a magic and I have broken my sq-1 and 4x4 at competitions. I almost lost my friend's edge piece, but byu's brother found it.

I also almost lost the straw to my CRC, but it just fell to the bottom of my backpack.

Edit: I lost $20 because I wouldn't stop buying mini Dianshengs.

I brought alot of cubes to the Mossouri Open. Someones little brother thought that every cube was mine and put a TON of them in my backpack where all my cubes were. I went through at the end to see if I had all my stuff only to find 10 extras.

Do you have one that's a hybrid of an old storebought core and type A pieces? The core is missing the yellow sticker, and the centerpieces are flat on the inside instead of rounded. It's been missing for a while, and I'm pretty sure it disappeared at MO open.

I've had a stopwatch go missing. I'm sure the person took it on accident, but once they found it, I'm guessing they didn't want to go through the hassle of giving it back.

at captains cove this year I bought a mefferts 4x4 from dan and at the end of the day it was nowhere to be found. I consider myself lucky that it the only cube I have lost over the years.

At the last Indiana open, I left my magic laying on the scrambling table and when I went back to get it for my solves, it had been replaced by an older(and much looser one). I ended up using it for my solves, and had some slower times because I was afraid of screwing up the strings because it was so loose. I assume it was switched with mine by mistake, because I put it back in the same place and when I went back later, it was gone and mine had returned.

I don't believe I have every truly lost anything however. Did anyone lose anything at Atlanta last year?

Wowww, last year at atlanta was chaotic. Im sure that those puzzles on the table werent all there by the end of the day.

I lost my main speedcube at Germany 2008.
I ran around searching it for 1.5 hours after the competition ended and the very last person which I hadn't asked yet had actually found it!

Besides this, I have 'lost' many cigarettes, because cubers tend to like going smoking but also tend to have their cigarettes not on them
