What is the best V perm?

Here's a couple. They all come from the wiki. http://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/index.php/PLL#V_Permutation

R' U R' U' y' x R' U' R2 x' U' R' U R' F R F
R' U R' U' B' D B' D' B2 R' B' R B R
R' U R' U' x2 y' R' U R' U' l R U' R' U R U
L' U R U' L U L' U R' U' L U2 R U2 R'
R U' L' U R' U' R U' L U R' U2 L' U2 L
R' U L U' R U R' U L' U' R U2 L U2 L'
L U' R' U L' U' L U' R U L' U2 R' U2 R
R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F
R' U R' U' y z' U' R U' R' U2 y' R' U' R U R
R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F
R' U R' U' y R' D R' D' R2 F' R' F R F

The one I use is in bold.

I think most people use variants of that algorithm, although there are others.
I use:
R' U l' f' (x R') U R' U' (R2 x') U' R' U R U

I use this:
R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

but I do the d' as a U' and then a y cube rotation.

R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

I'm not sure if it's fastest, I average around 2.2 or 2.3 with it. I can hardly ever sub-2 with it, but I feel like I perform it faster during solves.

I use this:
R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

but I do the d' as a U' and then a y cube rotation.

I use that one too. I can average about 2-2.5 on it. Also, it can be adjusted by adding a few moves and it becomes an F permutation.

R' U2 R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F

I use that F-perm too.

I think if I practiced it, I could get this alg sub-2, but I don't enjoy it too much because of the y and the F at the end.

I don't understand half of these V-perms, but here's the one I use, and I can only avg. 3.xy with it (I can sometimes sub-3 it, but it's hard and it hurts my hands during a PLL attack :()

r' F R F' r U r' F R' F' r U2 R U2 R'

Hopefully I typed it out right, I was doign the alg as I typed it so I might have gotten one move wrong... but it's pretty fast for me!! :)

All V's can be adjust to be an F perm:

Take the F case, hold the solved face in back, and do R' U R -- voila, your F perm can now be solved with a V perm

I use this:
R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

but I do the d' as a U' and then a y cube rotation.

I use that one too. I can average about 2-2.5 on it. Also, it can be adjusted by adding a few moves and it becomes an F permutation.

R' U2 R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F

i personally use this: R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

it lends itself nicely to learning the E perm(maybe the F, i suck with these counter intuitive names) (R' U2 R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F)

EDIT: wow, maybe i should have read the last post of the thread first

That was a highly unnecessary facepalm. V is one of the more unexplored PLLs. Typically we limit ourselves to 2 (or something that is the same but fingertricked differently, like d' moves):
R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F
R' U R' U' x2 y R' U R' U' x' R2 U' R' U R U

Both can be very fast and both require only 2 moves difference for an F perm:

R' U2 R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R U' F
R' U2 R' U' x2 y R' U R' U' x' R2 U' R' U R x' U' F

But my favorite is easily (hope I typed correctly):
R' U R' U' x2 y R' U R' F R' F' R2 U' l U

Conversion to F is terrible. But the alg is so fast. The first four moves are one motion. Your hand is already set up for the x2 y R' U R' F R' is one motion, then the last 4 moves are also one motion. Lots to pick from, few are really good.

I use this:
R' U R' d' R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

but I do the d' as a U' and then a y cube rotation.

That's exactly how I do it. And what is this of people doing it in 1.2? WTF? I thought even very fast cubers took about 2.5 for this, F-perm, and N-perm a.
I thought these perms were terribe, compared to 1.5 on some other algs. No wonder I'm so slow :p

I use that one too. But I perform it as R' U R' U' y R' F' R2 U' R' U R' F R F

Yeah, that's what I said.:confused::confused::confused:
